Asahi Kasei Cooking Contest
Contestant Name: Kurian Jacob
Dish: Peanut Butter Cookies
I’m using Asahi Kasei Cooking Sheet for baking the cookies. Equal quantities of freshly and homemade (without preservatives) peanut butter and brown sugar are mixed well. One egg is beaten and mixed with a few drops of vanilla essence and added to the mix.
The cooking sheet is taken from the Asahi Kasei roll using it’s self cutter and spread on the baking tray. The oven is preheated for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.
The tray is placed inside the oven and baked for 15 minutes. When done it’s taken out and three almonds each were immersed into the half done cookies.
It’s then baked for another 5 minutes to have crisp almond crowned peanut butter cookies.

Frying Fish Using Asahi Kasei Frying Pan Foil.
When it comes to frying, fish frying is the queen of all frying. I have here a big piece of Kalanchi (sea bass) fish to fry. It’s pre marinated and just place it on the frying pan foil on the tawa and it just get fried on it without any oil.
It’s not only avoiding oil, we don’t have the dilemma of whether non stick is healthy or not, or should we go back to cast iron tawas.
Thank you Asahi Kasei for bringing in this amazing Japanese technology, particularly the frying pan foil which is silicone coated and healthy.

It’s non stick with silicone coating. No oil used and it’s healthy cooking.
Pan is intact. It doesn’t matter if it’s nonstick which could be unhealthy or cast iron which is healthier.

It was happiness. We fought together some severe pest attack and survived.

This little budded tree on my balcony gave a real tasty naadan (local small variety) mango.

Enjoyed, just like in the traditional way. First tasted the remains left on the andy (seed). Then had the two thin ones called palaka pool (plank pooled portion) and finally the best parts the metthha pools (the thick bigger cuts). Bliss.

What if I grow a new one from the seed.
