Yogurt in supermarket shelves have variety, but almost all, if not all have added sugar.
This is when my own innovation attempt here makes sense, homemade yogurt with no added sugar, and diary free.
Take three cups of freshly grated coconut and transfer into a mixer jar. Add little hot water. Just a little and make sure that the grinding is not done when contents are hot as otherwise it may explode and there will be the mixture flying all over.
Add three slices of fresh pineapple. Grind and mix well.
Squeeze the mixture in a cheese cloth or linen and extract the thick liquid.
Take the residue, add some palm jaggery powder and roll into tasty coconut laddu (balls).
Mix one and half tsp of agar agar powder in little hot water and pour into the thick coconut milk. Mix well.
Add a tsp of cardamom powder and mix again.
Pour the solution into a mason jar and chill for 4 to 5 hours in the refrigerator.
Enjoy the healthy, sugar free, diary free coconut milk yogurt with pineapple flavour.
(Note: reduce agar agar to 3/4 tsp. It thickens well)

Thank you Mary.
But wait, I am experimenting adding little curd to see if we can have the fermented taste
