Apple and Watch

A bite from Apple is already taken. Still it’s the most adored and supported brand in the categories it operates.

I just posted what a doctor told my friend about the Apple Watch, that it causes cancer and when worn on left hand would harm the heart.

Many of you ignored my post and the doctor’s observation, some even suggested that my friend should change the doctor. But there was a polite half told message. On probing the blogger suggested that there could be some truth.

Of course, how can we ignore it or brush it aside. Personally I drew strength from the smokers in deciding to continue to wear the watch and read all the analysis.

It’s not only smokers, there are many in the lives of us, the common people, that we are forced to ignore all the threats. For example, we still use the microwave, many continue to live in highly polluted cities etc etc.

Then it struck me this morning and Apple O Apple, what are you doing! You missed a great marketing opportunity.

Think about the expensive pacemaker and the high priced stent, people willingly allow doctors to put them inside and only insurance companies are worried and wonder if the devices were actually required as dictated by doctors.

But we have learned that Apple can keep the doctor away. Apple could have invented something under the Watch to boost health and cure cancer.

My recommendation is the easily changeable strap. Invent a health strap with power to boost health. And a special device to clean and recharge the health boosting strap which could even claim to reverse Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Price the strap and cleaner to the Apple standard. Nobody will complain as the company has allowed the Apple to be bitten for the taste.

  1. I am not such a fan of the iWatch and I had a friend who used to wear one and I’d trade my friend saying “show off” 😜 I however wear a Xiaomi Mi3 band and I love the minimalist design and features it offers for one tenth of the cost 🙂

  2. I’ve never used the Apple Watch. Don’t intend to and I feel there are other tracking devices out there which we can use to monitor our health. That said, I do think some kinds of technology might not be too good for our health. You mentioned the microwave, and if you put your head next to the microwave when it is turned on, it radiates water particles from your head.

    1. No no Diane, it’s just perfect. I mentioned my friend’s doctors observation with a few of reputed doctors and all of them said that they haven’t heard anything like that.
At best try wearing on the right hand like I do. Perhaps you will get a positive feeling like I got of being different, cool and yuppie.
It’s a fantastic devise and quite useful.
Like one of our friends who suggested that my friend should change the doctor. And I will tell her

  3. Ofcoz you are right about the may threats around us which have been carelessly ingnored or have gone invisible because of the way we tend to hold on to our laziness. But awareness has always proved greater than carelesness and laziness.
Now here is a short personal message for you, even if the world do not accept you or the bitten apple ignores you, you have all the right to be calm and blissful because you have done your mighty part. Your part of thw game has been so played and played gentle and smart. As I believe, things are not in our control but our satisfaction lies in the steps we have take.

    Thumbs up. Nice idea

  4. Both my husband and I wear a fit bit and have both suffered shoulder injuries, (we are two geriatric but enthusiastic cross fit athletes) and our physiotherapist has suggested that the injury, in both cases, started with our watches/fit bits. We now use them as mere watches and often resort to the old fashioned wind-up wristwatches. And both shoulders have improved and we are working out again. The experience has made us question using and keeping our phones on our person as in pockets. Who knows what damage is being done by them?

  5. I hunted for your post location in order to thank you for your likes over past days but was not able to find you until today. I do appreciate the contacts you have made with my blog Upward Bound. In visiting your posts today. I especially liked the salad views and a view of what I believe was labeled a Tea Field. Beautiful!
